TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital Achieves Healthgrades 2021 Outstanding Patient Experience Award
June 28, 2021 (HOUSTON) – TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital achieved the 2021 Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award, a distinction that recognizes TOPS Hospital in the top 15% of hospitals nationwide. 2021 is the second year that TOPS Hospital has achieved the award.
The Outstanding Patient Experience Award is based on patient experience surveys to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Survey questions focus on patients’ perspective of the care they received in a hospital, ranging from cleanliness and noise levels, to factors such as provider communication and responsiveness to patients’ needs. It also measures whether a patient would recommend the hospital to friends or family, as well as their overall rating of the hospital.
