Grant Magness serves as CEO of TOPs Surgical Specialty Hospital providing leadership and executing on the vision of the facility. Prior to TOPS, he was the first multi-facility administrator for United Surgical Partners International (USPI)’s MH Surgery Center Heights and MH Endoscopy Center North Loop in Houston.
Magness also served as administrator USPI’s Memorial Hermann Texas International Endoscopy Center where he led the facility through a key transition from a single-specialty to multi-specialty surgical center with the addition of both new service lines and physicians. Prior to joining USPI, he served in multiple roles with Community Health Systems most recently, as assistant administrator with Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Brownwood, TX.
Magness also was Interim CEO with Toppenish Community Hospital, Toppenish, WA and Administrative Specialist with Tomball Regional Medical Center, Tomball, TX. He is a member and Co-Chair SETC with the American College of Healthcare Executives and member of Texas Hospital Association Leadership Development Council, Brownwood Chapter Total Resource Campaign Committee a Trinity University Financial Campaign Committee. His is President and Board Member of Brown County United Way and Member as well as President of the Brown County Young Professionals Association.
He holds a Master’s of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Baylor University.
