Andrea M. Wappelhorst

RN, Chief Nursing Officer

Andrea M. Wappelhorst serves as CNO for TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital responsible for integration, coordination and direction of nursing and patient care within the facility. She brings decades of healthcare experience to the role having previously served as Director of Nursing, KSF Orthopedic Surgery Center in Houston where she oversaw for all aspects of the nursing care at the facility.

Wappelhorst hired, trained and recruited nursing staff and acted as the liaison to physicians and surgeons practicing at the facility. She is a registered nurse in the State of Texas and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).

She holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.
