Grant Magness Named CEO for TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital

April 23, 2021 (HOUSTON)– TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital, a 5-Star rated hospital by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, is pleased to welcome Grant Magness as Chief Executive Officer. Magness is focused on leading a team with a deep strategic focus on quality, patient experience, operations, and growth. He also oversees the TOPS Comprehensive Breast Centers with locations in Spring, Houston, Woodlands, and Kingwood.

Magness is a seasoned health care executive with experience in hospital leadership. Prior to his role at TOPS, Magness served as Administrator of Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights and Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center North Loop. He has held the position of CEO for a transitioning hospital in Yakima, Washington and has served in various leadership capacities at regional medical centers in Tomball and Brownwood, Texas. Magness earned his master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
